This is for anyone who wants to become a Christian. It is inclusive of children and adults. Children who are not baptised as babies may be enrolled from 9 years of age. The main criteria is commitment to Jesus as Lord and Saviour and not age. This involves enrolment into a process of growing into the Christian Faith. There are three stages;
1. A service of ’Election’, where each person commits themselves to belonging. This is a time for discovering the Bible and Jesus.
2. ‘A public affirmation’ of personal faith, and the presentation of a personal copy of the Bible. This leads to discovering more about the Church Sacraments and Living the Christian Life.
3. ‘Entry into Full Communion’, with the Church, through Confirmation. If Baptism has not already taken place it occurs as part of the Rite of Initiation with Confirmation
Sunday Baptisms all take place during the principal Sunday service. Arrangements may be made to have a Baptism at a time other than the Sunday Service. There is usually one prior preparation session. The baptism form can be downloaded and completed on your computer by filling in the boxes, then clicking the print button at the bottom of the form..
FRIENDS OF JESUS
Children who worship with the Church on Sundays may, after preparation, be admitted to Communion.
Adults and children are confirmed, after training, from 11 years upwards. The criteria is not age but commitment to Jesus.

The parish has a team of trained Eucharistic Ministers who take the reserved sacrament, which has been blessed by a priest at a Eucharist, to those who are sick, housebound or in need. Please make your wishes known to the clergy through the local Church Wardens, by contacting the Parish Office or by placing the names in the intercessions or thanksgiving books in each Church.

The Sacrament of Healing is also available (Prayer, Laying on of hands and anointing with the oil of healing) by contacting the clergy through local Wardens or the Parish Office.
The Sacrament of healing is also part of our preparation for death and our continuing journey towards God. This is then received with Holy Communion (Viaticum).
