This is for anyone who wants to become a Christian. It is inclusive of children and adults. Children who are not baptised as babies may be enrolled from 9 years of age. The main criteria is commitment to Jesus as Lord and Saviour and not age. This involves enrolment into a process of growing into the Christian Faith. There are three stages;
1. A service of ’Election’, where each person commits themselves to belonging. This is a time for discovering the Bible and Jesus.
2. ‘A public affirmation’ of personal faith, and the presentation of a personal copy of the Bible. This leads to discovering more about the Church Sacraments and Living the Christian Life.
3. ‘Entry into Full Communion’, with the Church, through Confirmation. If Baptism has not already taken place it occurs as part of the Rite of Initiation with Confirmation

Please make your wishes known to the clergy through the local Church Wardens, by contacting the Parish Office or by placing the names in the intercessions or thanksgiving books in each Church.
